Creator of Orthokinetic Philosophy has devoted his career to clinical practice and education of students dentistry, physiotherapy, residents of different specialties and medical personnel in orthodontic areas, occlusion, interdisciplinary dentistry, temporomandibular disorders and cranio-cervical and craniomandibular and its influence on biophysics, static and dynamic biomechanics of the human body and its impact on the overall physiology of it.
He was director of the Program of Orthodontics and Orthodontics of Colombian Dental College for 11 years, and Orthodontics Director for bachelor program in University College institute of Colombia UNICOC, Colombian Dental College. He is currently international guest professor at several universities in America and Europe in areas of biomechanics and biomaterials, diagnostics, interdisciplinary dentistry, dentofacial anomalies and orthogmathic surgery, occlusion and temporomandibular joint, cranio-cervical, applied periodontics, among other disorders.
He is internationally recognized as an authority in the field of Orthodontics, growth and development, entofacial anomalies, temporomandibular disorders and disorders cranio-cervical and craniomandibular, giving lectures at national and international level.
His Textbooks and diagnostic methods have become a standard for teaching in different countries.
He has been a researcher, clinician and lecturer for over two decades, giving lectures worldwide. He has received several awards for his contribution to science and teaching.
In addition to his textbooks, where some are in their fourth edition, he has several publications in scientific journals. He is scientific director of Orthokinetic Training Center which he founded in the nineties.
